Hey Schweetie was started with a desire to bring more vegan options to the growing Des Moines food scene. The intention of Hey Schweetie is to serve fare that is nostalgic and comforting, with a focus on fresh ingredients and partnerships with local producers. We intend to nurture our vegan community, while making food that is enticing and accessible to those who aren’t plant-based. We want to remove stigma that vegan food is pretentious or unattainable. Our goal is to feed people good food that they can feel good about.
